Come with us on this great
adventure.
This adventure is for those who may
not have the strength or want to trek
through the Northern Sierra Madre
Natural Park.
On this trip we will fly over the
mountain range to Palanan, and
then fly back almost two weeks later
from Maconacon.
Overlooking the Northern Sierra Madre from the plane.

Why stay in the crowd when you still have a chance to explore!

We will start early in the morning from Manila
up to Ilagan located in the province of
Isabela on the island of Luzon.
A journey of about 400km. In Ilagan we will
sleep at a hotel.
The day after we will go to the nearby town
called Cauayan and fly over the Northern
Sierra Madre Natural Park (NSMNP).
We will land in Palanan where we will sleep
for three nights.
In Palanan we will be
staying in families.
This is the largest village in
this part of Isabela.
We will visit Palanan
Forestal Dynamics Plot, a
scientific research station in
the tropical rainforest, plus
some other attractions.
We will then travel further
on bancas, boats, to a
small village called
Divilacan.
Here in NSMNP nests the greatly
endangered Philippine Eagle, also known as
the monkey eating eagle, if we are lucky we
will see or hear it.
But it's easier to hear and see the Hornbill.
Once in Divilacan we will stay with families. At dusk we will be out watching the flying
dogs flying out to hunt. We will visit old mangrove swamps, swim in coral reefs in crystal
clear waters of the Pacific.
We will be sleeping one night out at Dicatian Lake, where we will try to get a glimpse of
the world's most endangered crocodile, the Philippine crocodile.
Almost two weeks later, we will fly back over NSMNP from Maconacon.
This night we will spend in Ilagan. Early next morning we will head back to Manila.
If you already are a group or a company wanting to do this adventure, we tailor
it for you and your needs.
Please contact us if you are interested.
This adventure will be possible through March - September.
To do this adventure during the rainy season can cause long delays if a
typhoon comes in, they wont fly over NSMNP.
